Here is a detail step by step on hoo set up a matrix job to be executed using cron job

Create new cron

To use this feature, you’ll need a Matrix job already configured. This matrix will be the one triggered by the cron job.

Configuration

1. Click “Cron Job” under the Triggers menu.

2. Click “+ New Cron trigger”

   

3. Fill out the form

   The “Period” dropdown controls how often you want the trigger to repeat. For example, select “Day” to build daily, or “Month” to build monthly.

   

4. CLick “Save”
